So lookin to deaden my ranger but not wanting to break the bank.

Lookin for ACTUAL experience with a product and do not want to hear "just run Second Skin"

Im lookin into 2 different deadeners: Zilla Mat and Edead 45.

If you have ran either tell me your experience. Also have read that RAAMMat is a cheap alternative but their site says its $90 for

There are two ways to do things. The right way and the wrong way. Using an inferior product is the wrong way and will only cost you more money in the end. Spend the cash up front and do it right the first time so your happy with the results.

Ive got 120sq ft of Damp Pro and SPL tiles in my car. I love it. Ive got another 13sq ft sitting in the closet waiting for a nice day with CCF. It sticks great, its easy to work with, and the results are awesome. I did a comparison with this and Audiowrap on my license plate. I had to use 3 layers of Audiowrap on my plate vs 1/2 of an SPL tile from SS to achieve the same results.

check out this new company called audio techix. they have a sub forum o caco. He has really good reviews and good prices. I ordered a roll of 60mil at 25sqft for 70 shipped to canada. his stuff sells QUICK.

ive seen that too as im a member over there. but im needing in excess of 100 sq ft. so that would still be pushing $300. im looking into the Edead and Zilla as 100sq ft is around 100 for each

Do some serious reading. If you want to do it the incorrect way and follow the blind mantra of buying massive quantities be it in roll form or not, while paying more money for covering every square inch of metal, when it is not any more effective, in many cases less effective, then it is to do a proper application of CLD Tiles, CCF and MLV. I have a very well photographed install of my latest car with the correct method that would not cost excessive amounts and added minimal weight.

audio technix is great. I know its a bit out of the price range your trying to spend, so...look at it this way.

Any of the cheaper ones are all asphault based. If you live somewhere where its not always hot, you'll be ok. But, your truck will have a strange smell of tar for weeks especially if you put that much in there. Unless your going for pure spl trying to plug and cover every hole, use less, better stuff. I know it's an older truck your putting it in, so i can completely understand if your trying to ball on a budget!
