what are some good cheap head units out there for running an active front stage. the only ones i heard about here are the eclipse 8455 (i think) and the clarion 955, and these are both too expensive for me.

Used Pioneer 860MP if you can find one would probably be the absolute cheapest way.

Used Eclipse 8053's can be had for around $300

alpine 9835 is a good one. if you could handle the glide touch maybe the 9855.

CDA-9815 is a good one, there's a bunch.

I like the 860MP myself. I know of a like new one for 275 shipped. PM me if anyone is interested.
