Charging PM battery b4 installing?

My pm battery came with a yellow paper saying ''CAUTION''

Under it, it said the following; It is very important that proper charging techniques be used when charging AGM betteries. AGM batteries are designed for use with AGM battery chargers with a maximum output voltage of 2.4 volts per cell.

most off the shelf batteries should be pretty well charged. I assume they could or you can get a really cheap charger and just make sure its agm compatible. I got one from harbor freight for 35$ and use it all the time
