Charging Batteries Hooked Up

I have an xs3400 up front and 6500 in the back. I use an xspower intelicharger to charge the batteries. Usually, I take the batteries out of the car and charge them both separate. Is it safe to charge both batteries hooked up to the car/amplifiers? Would save me quite a bit of time, but I don't want to damage anything.

Yep

I used a 2 amp smart charger and my mids/highs amp took a ****. It was playing just fine before I parked in the garage. Hooked up the charger overnight, came in the morning to hear this playing.
