Right now I have a JL 12w6v1 running on about 300-350watts in a sealed 1.25 cubic foot enclosure.

I just realized how CHEAP the Sundown E series were and picked up a 15.

I plan on running it in about 3.5cubes at 32-34 Hz on around 500watts...so...

What should i expect as far as differences in volume?

I understand my SQ isn't going to be as great but will this thing get way louder or just a bit?

Just trying to figure out what to expect...

Thanks

should be significantly louder if you do it properly, make sure the box design is legit and it'll sound good too, probably not as good as the jl, but still good.

just noticed i put this in the wrong section, but thanks for the reply. Any suggestions for how to design the box?

I used to use the Resonant Engineering enclosure calculator but that was like 6 years ago. Any suggestions?
