changing sub around

I have some old subs and the motors are good on them but they need reconed. I would like to change the size of the basket on one too. I'm wondering if there's a good book/guide out there that can take me thru the process so I can learn a little. If someone knows a link to a book or something it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

There are some tutorials on here about doing recones. You will need a caliper to measure your gap and a soldiering iron for doing the recone. The hardest part would be determining the parts to use. There is fixmyspeaker.com and subwooferparts.com
