Changing setup ??

I had 1206L7 in a 2.6@32hz with about 1100 rms in a trunk. I plan on gettin a 12" type r in a 3.0@32hz with about 1000-1200 rms in a backseat of a truck. Im mainly SPL do u think i will still be happy with my new setup i plan on getin..

I no u cant tell me exactly what db number ima hit or nothin like that im just wantin some imput. I dont want hear the type R an be dissapointed. If i will be ill just spend a lil more money and get a L7. I was impressed with my Old setup

Never owned an R, but I'm pretty sure most on here will tell you that the L7 will be louder, but the R will maintain better sq.

Do u think that ill be dissapionted by the spl of a type R after owning a L7. Im mainly a spl kinda guy.

Disappointed? No. If spl is your goal I'd stick with the L7 though. Seems like it'd be easier to get the L7 loud. Give it about 3 cubes gross and tune at 32-33.

well that would pretty much be my system, 11-1200, back of a pickup, except my R is in 2.75 @ 37. Its loud for 1 12. check out the vid in sig

What kind of truck is it going in? What size cab?
