changing my system

well im looking at changing my system around and in would like some opinions. i have a pioneer gm5200t amp that i used for my sub which i sold. i also hve a lightning audio walmart amp for my door speakers. i would like to have one amp powering both and im looking for a new sub/enclosure to replace the one i sold. i listen to rock, rap, country, and just about everything else. i like boomy bass for rap and tight bass for rock. just looking for some suggestions to help steer me in the right direction.

open to suggestions on 1 or 2 subs, 10" or 12", ported, sealed, or bandpass.

my original thought was to go with the fosgate p2 loaded ported enclosure with a hifonics zxi80 amp to power everything

i would like to try to keep it under $300 for everything. i can build an enclosure if needed, i just dont know how good i could do on a ported one. also had thoughts of building a center console subwoofer box. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks guys

i like the price of that subwoofer but would that amp be able to power my phoenix gold 6.5" door speakers too? i currently have them running off of a lightning audio walmart amp and i would like to run the sub and door speakers off of 1 amp

Yup, would it? Just curious about the answer.

yes it would work. you would just need to order the SVC 4ohm DCON, or choose a different sub with a DVC 2ohm option.

okay cool. thanks. im looking into the DCON. i was also looking at the dc level 2. i dont really know much about either sub. i may go with a sealed enclosure to start with but i still havent completely decided on that

Look at FI X and maybe an audiopipe 4ch...

those will work in sealed enclosures just fine. and you defiantly cant go wrong with Fi

i have heard people say hifonics is crap. is this just personal opinion like ford vs chevy? is is it really a piece of junk like a yugo? lol

what is a good amp to run with that sub? it needs to be able to run my door speakers along with the woofer
