Alright peeps, I need some help

Decided to get rid of my two Cadence 8's and go back to a single 15. I really miss the low bass. Now my enclosure is 3.25cu.ft net tuned to 35hz. I ran a single Obsidian 15 in this enclosure and managed a 143.7 on a termlab. But that was also off an RE Audio DTS1500.1 which maxed at 965 watts.

I have the Soundstream Rubicon 2500.1d amp. Looking to go back to the 15. And Obsidian V2 is on my list right now.

Throw me some ideas in that price range $160-200 shipped that will work in that enclosure.

2500w would fry an Obsidian. Honestly, it would fry just about anything under $200.

You can get a new American Bass XFL 15 for $195 shipped on eBay. I've heard of them being on 2k daily, I'm sure 2500 wouldn't be a problem if you were careful with your gains.

Also if you up your budget to about $300+ you could get a Fi Q or BL 15.

I will be setting the gains to match the sub. If I ran an obsidian I would set for 600 daily and probably 1200-1500 at comps.

In that case, Obsidian or Sundown would work well. AA Chaos and GCON might also be a good option if you can find one used. I believe there's a XFL 15 for sale in the classifieds too

Yep. But in my small *** hatch, if I wanna keep ANY cargo space, the largest I can fit is a single 15, 4-8's, 3-10's or 2-12's. But since I already have an enclosure readily available, might as well go back to a single 15. That way I have more cone area than I have now with the two 8's and will be able to get the low bass extension I am looking for. The two eights are nice, they hit the lows nice, just not as violent as the single 15.

Oh for sure. I had a single 12 XFL on about 15-1700 daily for a couple months.

Accordig to their website, they are only making the 15's in a dual 4? I know the older models came in a dual 2?

All 3 sound like good choices, but I'd go with the MD15 if you go with Tantric. Compared to the LD, it's got a bigger coil that's aluminum rather than copper and more motor force. Just out of curiosity, how much is a MD15?

Obsidian V2: $160 + shipping

Incriminator Audio: $209

Tantric LD15: $175

Tantric MD15: $280

American Bass XFL: $215

Cadence S2W15: $178

Right now my top 4 are:

1. American Bass XFL

2. Cadence S2W15

3. Obsidian V2

4. Incriminator Audio
