change shipping address!?

my friend ordered my HU through sonicelectronix and its supposed to come in on monday, and i ordered last wednesday. and its being mailed to his house because they only ship to the billing address and he just found out he wont be home next week. is there anyway to chagne the shipping address to my house? either through them or UPS? and i feel that it is their fault that it arriving so late because they failed to notify me that they were "supposedly" changing warehouses so they couldn't process any orders last week.

He can probably have them hold it at the UPS depot until he gets back in town.

I doubt it, especially since its supposed to be his order as far as the website that shipped it is concerned.

They are trying to prevent fraud, so you'll have to just get him to do the talking to UPS.

hmm maybe thats why I didnt get my Focals, I ordered them and a week later, I still didnt get em! So i called a few times and one person said they were shipped and UPS picked em up, another said they werent and said theyre still in the warehouse somewhere, so I was like f@#k this and I cancelled the order and got my money back

so they told ya that they were moving to a different warehouse, a-holes they didnt tell me this, and thats too bad cause they have some killer prices on some awesome products, o well maybe ill try and order something from them when they get the act together

i thought they were a reputable company from their reviews on eGay. and i just received their email about them moving a few minutes ago!! wtf is that? this is why i hate ordering from the internet..

UPS will leave a tag at the door if no one is home....take the tag, log on to their website and have package redelivered to your address and your name. Or, select to pick up item at the nearest UPS station to his home. They will give you 10 days to get it. I am sure your friend will be home by then to pick it up.

You could just have your friend sign and leave a note saying its ok to leave the package, and then you can just pick it up at his house midweek. Unless its a bad neighborhood, then you may not wanna leave a package on the doorsteps.
