So what is everyones view on the new cerwin vega v-max??? I just got 2 12' 4ohm dvc. They hit nice and are pretty clean. I payed $209 shipped.

Don't let yourself down for the price that's a cool little pair, just get a good MDF ported box feed them about 400- 700 watts rms and you'll have a good loud bass.

ok The v-max are rated at 300 rms a piece I have the correct amount of power to them they hit hard.... Oh and have you ever heard of the stroker??? This sub will Kill just about every other sub out there. If I am not mistaken it still holds the SPL record. Cerwin vega isnt crap it just isnt a big name that is sold at best buy, and best buy sucks! I would never sell out to the crap that is out right now!!!

Cerwin Vega does not **** at all. Their Stealth subs were nice, so were the Vega Vega series, haven't heard your line but Vega has always had a good reputation in the car audio scene. These guys are either fuking with u and being assholes or don't know what they are talking about. Strokers are still get alot of respect to this day. One of the first monster SPL subs to come out.

"Cerweenie Vega." That's what they used to call it at my school... Until some joker with 2 12" Vega series and a Power Acoustic 1920 watt amp with a set of perfectly built ported boxes made them all cry. Now they cower at the mentioning of "cerwin."

And it only cost him $380.

They're cheap, effective and clean. You can't ask for much more than that.
