CDA-9853 Crossover/Parametric EQ settings???

Here is my setup in my Altima:

CDA-9853 with:

SPS-170A 6 1/2" Fronts

SPS-690A 6"x9" Rears

Everything is running off of the HU, but I don't have any idea how to setup the parametric equalizer. I tried the i-Personlize, but i'm still confused.

What would the ideal crossover /parametric EQ settings be for my setup??

xover you wanna hp at around 80-100 hz. the eq is up to you. whatever melts your butter

Ok...I have the fronts set to 160 and the rears set to 100 with a 12db slope....so far so good

This parametric EQ is a b*tch, so I'll stick with default factory presets..

your right, I had some type s coax, and those suckers, dont like to get lower than about 100-120

edited for acuuracy, I accidentally put the comps i have now instead of coaxes I used to have

Well, it wasn't me being right - I was actually asking if those speakers would play lower than the 160Hz he stated he had the fronts set to. That just seems kindof outrageous to me and makes me wonder if he's got a hugely audible gap in his overall sound.

thats me in my newbish days those, they probably sounded like crap though, but they sure as hell played that low. I enjoy componets now. Actually looking for some new ones. Maybe some JL's neways, Prowler go to the thread and tell me why you dont like wrights sound gallery...remember you told me to ask you at a later date
