fyi, 9831 also changes colors. nice feature, but man they r pricey tho.

i work at circuit city.. and we have the 9831... but not gonna carry the 9833 or 9835... i loved the 9831.. but when i saw the pioneer 8600... well... the 13 band eq... and the ability to autoset it's own eq and time alignment is awesome enough for me... plus the color display and you can download images to the cd player itself... i ordered it today and should be in soon :-D i haven't messed with the 9835 yet but i imagine it's pretty awesome... i probably would have gone with it if we carried it

I'm getting the 8053 with the balanced out adapter for about $350. Even if you get it w/o the balanced out, they can be had for like $350 and you still get 8v pre-outs. peace

hmmmm, i think i'd rather go with an eclipse 8053....better SQ features. 16v pre-outs, nice display. But, i was really interested in the alpine...only 4v PEAK pre-outs @300ohms...while eclipse is 8v/16v @60ohms. GLAD u like it, it looks slick. peace

Does Alpine now list the output impedance? You used to have to search for it(or what people assumed was that spec).

The only spec I had seen for Alpine that could be the impedance was listed on the spec sheet in the manual.

It would say 4V/10K ohms which most thought it was 4 volts at 10,000 ohms.
