Just installed my cda-9835 after some trial and error. Finally got it in and my dash back on, then i realized that it is set to 3-way on the bottom of the deck.............dont really want to pull it back out, but wonder if i should. I am running my comps passively so i am wondering whether it even makes a difference.

The deck sounds better playing music through my ipod than my cda-9825. Noticed immedietly.

Help me out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Thanks!

I have a couple of those, and I never use the fader on any HU..If you wanted to change the radio isn't that hard to pull, with Alpine's old-style 2-pin lock sytem which doesn't need keys.

I wish Alpine would bring back that formula, those units (9831/3/5) were fabulous with the eq/x-over functions and the 512-color matching..The only thing missing is a USB port, Alpine rolled that feature out now on the CDA-105..
