CD Player Skipping at High DB

Car is 1990 CRX built for SPL purpose

Deck is Alpine CDA 9885

Anything over 147ish and it skips. I have tried MDF Bracing as well as soft and absorbent bracing and no luck. Car gets much louder if I hold cd player in my hands and burp, so I know its the deck skipping.

Any Ideas? DO I need a changer?

Car will be about 152-153 DB's when maxed out with my current equip and cdplayer stops skipping

since it's for SPL do a podium/external HU set up....

i use the alpine ida-x305 with NO cd player built in it and it still skips for some odd reason through the ipod/usb port.

Its a street class, I can't use the cd player out of the car

i meant an external cd changer as in external from the deck not the car... you know like a 6 disc changer...
