was this study done by an independent test group? lol just messing with you
have been debating ofc vs cca for the new system im building it.

The way i look at.. ill spend 30 extra dollars or so on a kit to make it breath a little easier

People should do testing...I remember back in the "moster-cable" days for home audio, similar tests were done. The funny thing is, no one really could tell the difference between a wire-hanger, and 1000.00 speaker wire.

But its just for the sake of over doing it. The internals on some of the most high-end speakers in the world, use regular basic, wire.

Less resistance. One runs on top of the stands one runs though the whole strand. They both may pass 200 amps but which one will pass it easier

Like the studies done on $5 HDMI cables vs. the $80-300 ones. NO ONE COULD TELL A DIFFERENCE

only difference in HDMI cables are build quality. Ive gotten tons of stuff from Monoprice.com and some of the cables are just built bad and will have signal loss if its bent the wrong way..but other than that, its all just marketing. Dont fall into the hype.

Rockfish HDMI is totally worth the $80 though

Just like the majority of things in life, you get what you pay for.

I feel better knowing I can always upgrade than knowing if I wanna upgrade I gotta rip out my **** wires and basically restart.

So BAM spent 100$ on 25 feet of pure ofc 1/0 welding cable and I'm good for pretty much everything I'd like to do. 1/0 ofc is at 25' is good for I think 250-300 amps of current..cca is probably half that?

Shok OFC or KnuKoncepts. The latter has more strand count. I use the former a lot more though, I forgot why though.
