**SPOILER**...Sorry for those who already looked

Just got back from watching the newest 007, Casino Royale. It was a bit of a disappointment for me to be honest. Don't get me wrong, Im a huge Bond fan though. But this movie was bad. It was completely out of character for Bond. I understand some of the stuff seeing as how this was supposed to be Bonds "first time". Like the whole sloppy kill in the begining in the bathroom. And how the villian wasnt exactly of caliber to the rest of the other villians; the villian this time was meerly a banker to the type of villians bond deal's with in the future. Also there was the fact that Bond didnt recieve many gadgets. But none of these things bother me. The fact that Bond himself was so out of character. The licking the blood off the girls finger was really wierd. And how he disrespected the girl was something that TOTALLY blew me out of the water. He physically grabbed her in anger and called her an idiot. And overall, the movie was very sloppily put together. You should Never leave a Bond movie with the feeling of "What the heck just happened". Bond movies are supposed to be about hot girls, fast cars, and lots of explosions. I mean, who was the guy that Bond killed at the end? After some thought, I realized it was probably Vesper's husband/boyfriend but I feel that should have been a littler clearer. And the Bond Girl was distinguished way too late in the movie. I do LOVE this movie for one thing though. It really sets how come Bond never falls in love later on. Because as he puts it, He loved before and was hurt. I picked up on this really early...before he even told Vesper he loved her. I give this movie huge props for touching on this. And the Aston Martin was very beautiful. Its a shame we only saw it for about 2 minutes total...just to watch it get totalled.

I just got back from seeing it...I cant say that I was dissapointed, but I have grown use to crappy bond movies from the past few bonds.

Sean Conery = the only bond...

Oh, and casino royal if I remember correctly was originally a bond movie to be made, but it was instead made into a woody allen movie and then not until this year remade back into the bond movie...someone try and find this info. I cant remember where I read that and I am intoxicated at this time.

Ya, I guess there was too much decent acting and good storytelling in this movie.

Or maybe you just didn't get it. This was the first time Bond was actually played by an actor who was still a competent action star.

The stunts were good, and no Bond wasn't the Bond we're all used to; he was far more complete. It wasn't supposed to be a 'typical' stale Bond flick. There was a quote by one of the powers that be during the making of the movie - "You can only blow up so many moon-bases."

I thought it was the best Bond movie in recent memory.

I thought his whole never love again thing was because of what happened in On Her Majesty's Secret Service?

I hope to see the new one soon.

Amen...

Hmm, I guess I could be wrong. I also figured out the Mr. White thing wasnt Vespers boyfriend/husband either so I was wrong there too.

I didnt hate the movie. I dont have the ability to hate a bond movie. I just dont think it was up to par with the older ones. And I liked the actors and whatnot, just not the producing.

Daniel Craig = Great Bond.

The whole "lovey-dovey" thing with the ******* the bloody fingers and crap = poop. I thought the movie was great until after the main "card game" stuff, at which point it didn't totally feel like "Bond" anymore IMO.

I thought it was really good, but they should have elaborated more on some of the ending stuff as said earlier.

bond marathon every thanksgiving on spike tv > life

to bad my uncle wont be with us this year to watch it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
