I thought this movie was actually one of the best ive seen recently. I do agree that the poker scene was dragged out, the villian was really intimidating and the movie could of ended in too many parts of the movie. I also would of preferred more with the car. But what i liked about it was that it was fresh and craig makes an excellent bond. He is cold yet has all the characteristics of the old bonds but with more 'kick ***' in him.
I think they have an excellent platform to make more bonds that require you to think more, but still not be confused. This was a test round, although not great... its a couple steps up in the right direction.
BTW, it was said that this bond was the closest description to the books than any other of the bonds.
