Careless driving ticket...Should i fight it?

of course...even if it costs double the ticket price its worth it...to never have to worry about insurance going up is worth spending the $.
You make it sound like you're guaranteed to win if you have a lawyer present. This is not always the case.

If they are good and the persons record is clean...if a lawyer cant get you AT LEAST no points no driving school with a court cost fine...then you deserve a full refund. of course, if you have prior tickets it makes things a bit harder. clients never go, the lawyer goes...they sign a waiver of appearance...so they can stay at work and pay their attorneys fee. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif The only recent butt raping I've seen at work was a client who went 55 in a 15mph school zone with a history of tickets...she got a $230 fine from the court, but no points no school.

im not even gonna read the thread...sorry....but i did a state police ride along with a Delaware State cop 2 nights ago, and part of the night we spent in court with some kid who wanted to fight a careless driving ticket....YOU WILL NOT WIN....plead guilty...it was a $40 fine or something, please plead guilty and move on with your life.

Well i know when i got my tickets (the cop saw me while i was raceing i went through the turn lane to pass a car i got 4 tickets Speeding, Improper lane usage, Improper overtaking of a vheicle, and No turn signal when i passed the car on the left:wow:) they droped 2 of the tickets so all i have now is a No turn signal, and a Improper lane usage ticket and all i had to do was pay 230 + 40 for the class

If all the information is correct, and evidence present, lawyer presence does not mean shit for traffic tix. In the end it's up to the district magistrate, or your local jurisdisctional rep - however your state does it.

In theory yes, but if you know the judge, it can make a world of difference. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
