Carburetor gurus? In ohio?

My chevette runs a bit rich and the choke sticks open or closed when starting after its warmed up. It also idles where i set it to sometimes and other times too low. I dont know anyone who is worth a crap at working on them and Im not about to get ***** by a shop

Its a two barrel carb. this car was outdated new. Ive run plenty of carb cleaner across it. dont want to rebuild really, just want it to turn the alts

just buy a new 2 barrel for it, probably wouldnt run more than 150...what year is the car

If you can find a carb that works on that car i will sh|t.

yeah id just go to autozone and see if they'll sell you a carb replacement. If they don't have it, call Holley.

They dont. they have rebuilds but i dont have the time or experience to do that. carbs are something i know very little about. Noone around me knows much about them either. I would rather say there is a holley carb on my chevette anyway

Gonna have to be rebuilt. If you have some mechanical skills it's fairly simple. Get a manual and rebuilt kit and have at it. Or buy a rebuilt one or have someone rebuild yours. Those are pretty much your options.

Its pitted kinda bad inside and I would rather pay someone else.
