List of said cars?Chicago for my pizza... well actually Costco for a slice... this is the West, we dont have good pizza here.
My son is 3 and is interested in all things mechanical. Must be something in the genes. He "helps" sometimes (not at the shop... hed lose a limb real quick there). I give him cones and parts and he builds speakers and houses and whatever from them in his play room. Oh, but if I ever get caught driving and not rock out hard enough I get yelled at. Music started with him before he was born (headphones and speakers to the womb thing). Not sure if it makes me a bad dad, but his earliest favorite I can remember was Pantera... He has an uncanny knack for remembering music. It freaks me out sometimes. His current favorite is a band called Kings of Nothing. Better taste in music than I do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Dont get me started on names of things. I think that is wht I am worst at by far. Resonant Engineering?!?!?! Rolls off the tongue like you just had 14 shots of novacaine and 4 molars removed.
The old names for RE stuff meant something to me. A big part of my life... and very few know what they mean.
I used up most of the names I would ever like to use with RE. Stuff I have now is just stuff. Really last minute names to give to the web designer just to keep things moving along. They do have meanings... but I might save the BTL for a freebie contest one day.
What do I want to be when I grow up? Retired. Then I can finish all the projects I have collecting dust. But I am thinning the heard of cars. 2 people that can drive them and 6 cars at my house. (conjures up visions of cars parked on the lawn with grass growing through the rotten floorboards... lol) Not quite the case as they all work and I rotate them. They all have specific plans... but time seems to go too fast. Oh, and the infamous "crab truck"...
I say 38.Old? Well in the past 2 years I started to look my age (or worse by some friends comments //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif )Old enough to be driving a van and touring the US with bands when many of you werent thought of //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Im first and prolly wrong...im stupid for posting first I know lol oh well.OK... new game of guess my age. 1 guess each for the next hour... whoever gets it right, Ill send them an X series sub.
We will not do amps in the future (unless we make them in house which is pretty much equivalent to "no")
Amps are a PITA. Even with a solid build house making them, there are way too many variables involved. I understand amp design and basics, but my amp building pretty much revolves around tubes, and not solid state. Not that I am a control freak, but if I can have my hands in it and be able to repair and know the product inside and out, its not something I need to get behind.
On that same note, we are forging a nice relationship with another large US company that does have amps. Seems to be a fairly symbiotic thing as we surely dont step on eachothers toes.
Ill check back on Sunday morning when I get back into town and see who won...
Remember... 1 hour from this post and 1 guess per person.
