Caraudio.com, I need your assistance for the most important aspect of my setup

i'm glad your dad isn't my dad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif tell him you'll cause more damage by not doing the big 3.
well how about we'll take care of this as if i say the best way to do it is change the wires under the hood, that is detrimental due to his impeccable logic.

As for doing the big three, explain to him that this is beneficial to the car with or without the system. Then offer to do his car(s). It may ease the blow to him a bit.
LOL if he aint drivin his car, NO ONE is touchin it let alone changing anything.

well i'll try the big three as part of the proposal, but we'll see. i still need answers for the door and headunit predicament. i DO know that it is a simple single DIN and will just pop out with din pins (hopefully...), as well as the spare tire.

just buy a harness and it's basically like throwing in a stock headunit. what do you want to know about the door panels? just be carefull.

take the door panels off, take out the speaker and put the new ones in. if the stock speaker sits in a plastic baffle trace it on to some wood, so it the new wood baffle can screw back in to the stock holes,

is your dash have a pocket under the radio?

my dad says that the clips will break easily or something, that is the problem right there. what do u mean does it have a pocket? u mean like an empty "bay"? if so, yes.

nah the door clips are made to come off. if you can get a hold of a door panel remover, (forked tool) it takes em off clean.

also you can use a plastic hard card, to pop the panel off.

lol, they cost like a quarter at the dealership. i've broken like 2 dozen of them and haven't spent $5 on them yet.

they make 2 special tools that will save you time and make your dad happy. one is a door clip remover pops them clips out without breaking them 5-7 at the local parts store and a window crank clip remover if you have manual windows that c clip can be a ***** lol.
