Well I finally got the amp to cut on and my head unit cut on and off ( not fast enough for it to have Blown) so i cut the car off and thinkg is it didnt turn off. Took off hot wire then the other off my battery and still running. After about 10 minutes of running took spark plug out and it finally quit. Wiring seems right.

First question.....what kind of car do you drive? Are there any other electronics hooked up to the car that havent been mentioned? If you have the car cranked, you can pull the battery out of it, and it will continue to run off of the alternator. It sounds to me like you have a bad ignition switch......

Yeah, it was running off the alternator. The only other things that I have running are two 25 watt PA Horns. I believe I blew something because my cruise control got stuck and would make a ringing sound until I cut it off. Would it help my electrical system any if I used a Yellow top battery? When I was in my car and went to cut the lights on it seemed like my car didnt know it was on because it would ding for a while like it was off and my lights were on. And I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee 1998

I would suggest you need considerably more assistance than a better battery. From the sounds of things there is a short somewhere that is affecting the entire electrical system- I'm no mechanic by any means but were I you I'd take it to an automotive electrical specialist and have it diagnosed.

My car setup only consists now of 2 25 watt Powerhorns, for now, a Viper d1200.1 and a 15" L7 DVC 2. I know that with my electrical system that running everythign at 1 ohm could def been the culprit. If it is, would it help any to run it any different and can I?

A single yellow top should handle that setup just fine.........definitely take your car to have it diagnosed. Probably something blown that you wont be able to find on your own

Took it to get it diagnosed and they said everything was fine that they just retightened some grounds. Before I left the parking lot powered amp up and cut headunit on and same thing happened. They eventually realized that is was something in the starter, like where it told the connections to cut on, and that the amp load had nothing to do with it. Could the extra load just have caused it to finally go if it was on the verge?
