car wont crank in the morning

Well i drive a 1993 suby legacy wagon. It has a tiny battery says: 525CCA what does that mean. I understand it stands for cold cranking amps, but what does this mean besides my battery is small? it only gets like maybe a low of 30degrees in the morning around here so thats not cold and the only problem i have is in the morning it will not start. for some reason it is drained or half drained in the mornings and thats it. I jump it in the morning and it cranks up the other 4-5 times i crank it up after that. Anyone know why this is? I told my mom to get me a optima red top to replace this pos. Iono if it will work with her though
