Car stereo installation problem?

Ok, so i went to install my car stereo and with ONLY the 12v constant connected i'm getting a drain on my battery of .70 (checked with a multimeter). why is this?....also the rca's on my headunit are grounded (don't know if that means anything). Any advice.

Try finishing the job and then check again. That will eliminate the remaining wires being the potential problem. If it's still there, then we can move on.

after i connected other wiring i'm still getting .70 drain reading

seems like the power ic logic gate in the headunit might be staying on. kind of like a stuck relay. id say throw it on the ground a couple times to get it un stuck....jk. make sure your ground is good or run another right from the battery to test it to make sure. just remember the current will always be drawn for memeory and clock and all. but .7 is way to high.
