what would be the simplest way to run a amp in a house? i figure a 12 vold ac to dc adapter would run the cd player but how would you run the ground on the amp?? he has me cunfused.

take an old extension cord and cut about 4 inches of wire with the house plug with three prongs, still connected. cut the power wires all the way down and then plug it into the wall with the 4" ground wire.....

I use an Antec computer power supply and ran my kenwood amp on it just fine. The amp was rated at 300rms. I currently use that same PSU on an older profile amp and run my IDQ with it. More than enough output for me. I also used to run a Kenwood headunit that powered two front speakers off of the same PSU. It worked great and nothing ever headed up or blew up.
