I'm the kind of guy who needs factual, physical proof of a claim before I decide whether or not to act upon that claim. You guys are all saying Sony's mobile audio is the worst, but until I see physical proof its Sony's own fault, then I find all these claims hard to believe.

id take a sony specialty series cd player over a compairable alpine unit anyday i would also like to say from a pretty reliable source that sony is doing another ultra high end deck just to spank the alpine f 1...

Adding an amplifier/HU/speakers to a car is not a difficult task and only Very minimal knowledge is needed to do so.

I got all my stuff installed by Circuit City's RoadShop installers, who are nationally certified installers that specialize in car audio installations. I do not bother installing things myself because I have very little knowledge on how to build electronics. I can design and build computers, just not car audio systems.
