2 15" mags vs 2 15" L7s

im interested in gettin either 2 15" SI MAGS or 2 15" kicker L7's

which do you think will get louder and sound better?

Depends on what your looking for.

mags you will pay more, sound great and be loud,

kickers you will pay less, be loud, and sound ok.

this is asssuming they are both in the same range of application.

honestly i believe the mags are the best choice here. i honestly don't think the L7's will be that much louder in an sql setup wich you are looking for. the mags do get loud. maybe on a meter the L7's would put up some better numbers, but to the ear i don't think the l7's would be louder and the mag is just an great sq sub.

i'm saying to the ear i don't think you'll notice a difference. why do you want to be heard from further away? i sure as hell don't want to hear your system while i'm sitting in my house

L7s are louder considering u give them the watts they need + put them in the right box, but MAGs are just better overall, they sound better, and they do also get pretty **** loud , i have 2 l7s now and i want to switch to mags , so make ur own opinion

from my experiences with both.. I feel the mags have an advantage over the L7's in the 40hz down area... L7's can get very loud.. but lack a little in the exteme low end department..

Both are good companies.. figure out exactly what you want and pick

L7- bit louder from 40-60hz, subjective sound is a notch or two under the mags

Mags - bit louder from 40hz down, subjectively sounds a bit better overall

in daily type use... mag's are pretty hard to beat..
