If you have spots for 6.5s, I would highly recommend using 6.5s in those spots. I wish I had some adapter plates for my **** 6 x 9 spots, but I'm not that lucky. There is a large variety of 6.5s out there which are much better than any 6 x 9s. You could always try out those new RE component sets...

Well the speakers i got were free and they are pretty decent 6x9's

there Blaupunkt 210 watt, 70 RMS, it would be ashame not to use them.

So if i got adapter plates for it, the 6x9's would work in the 6 1/2 spots?

If so, how much would those cost?

Well hey, if they were free you could always sell them and save the money to buy some nice 6.5s. I'd never cut out 6.5 spots just for some 6 x 9s, but that's just me...

I wouldn't bother cutting your car up for some 6x9"s. Most people have the 6x9 holes and convert them to fit 6.5"s. I would just do as phrozen said, and sell the Blaupunkt's, and put that cash toward some good 6.5"s.
