Good Evening ladies and gents!

Car I drive is a 2014 Mustang Convertible and the current audio set up I have right now is:

Head unit: kenwood excelon ddx793

Amp: Kenwood Excelon XR900-5 (5 channel amp)

Speakers:

Four Alpine Type R 6x8 Coaxials

Alpine type R tweeters mounted in A frame

Shaker 500 stock subs w/ stock amp

JL audio 12W3V3-2

And 1.5 farad cap.

So first issue that's easier to explain is that the tensil wire on my jl audio 12w3v3-2 keeps burning out and before using the current amp I had the mrv-m5pp alpine amp and it did the same exact thing.

Secondly I experience a high pitch sound during certain mid/low bass notes and the quality on higher notes the higher pitched the clarity *****. Which I have experienced this issue with a whole other set of kickers speakers I had.

Also even without the 5 channel amp I was experiencing these issues. What can I do?

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
