there is no sound in the videos, I just used my digi camera to record which doesn't have sound to begin with, and if it did it would sound horrible anyway, i thought I posted that on the link...

I really like what you have done... great work! I was wondering if a "carputer" has the audio capacity of an indash DVD player for 5.1 and sound shaping? From what I have seen many people continue to use a HU of am I out of date?

The computer is more than capable of outperforming a HU, most people just keep one because if their computer ever crashes they can still have the HU, you don't have to worry about getting a radio tuner in your computer, and the wiring is easier.
