Maaco is good for a quick "cheap" paint job.
Expect just that.
If you want a quality "inexpensive" paint job, take it to a reputable body shop and have them shoot it with Acrylic Enamel Paint (Dupont Nason, Centauri, PPG Omni, Kirker AE, etc.
Enamel is not as tough as the typical urethane paints used today, however, enamel will make the car look great, but it does require considerably more upkeep to maintain it's durability. - I.E. -I'd suggest frequent washing, and at least a coat of sealant/wax every month.
If you plan on keeping the vehicle for a while, **** it up, spend the extra cash for a quality Urethane BC/CC option.
Keep in mind there is no such thing as a quality "cheap" paint job. Just does not exist. There is however, a quality "inexpensive" paint job.
