Car info?

Hey guys I need some help. Where can I find info on my vehicle like removing trim panels, kick panels, and the dash? I want to install my amp and head unit and stuff, but I don't want to break off all the plastic tabs that these items are held on by...

Where can I get instructions on removing this type of stuff? The owners manual is absolutly no help at all.

Nope the Owners manual wont tell how to rip it apart. Trial and error works pretty good. What kind of car is it? Crutchfield is good, I also like this site

Try using google to find the shop manual for your vehicle. I found one for my 94 accord and it was a huge help.

It has pictures and charts that showed how to get each pannel out/speakers ect.

A 1995 Mercedes E300 and a 1997 Dodge Dakota. The installdr.com looks cool, but didn't have info for my cars. I really don't want to end up breaking tabs and then not being able to put my dash or kickpanels back on... I guess I could try crutchfield... Do repair/shop manuals have this type of info? They are like 20-30 bucks but might be worth it...

The shop manual I found for my car did.

Thanks for the help guys. I have no idea how you found a pdf shop manual but I couldn't find one for either of my cars so it looks like I will just have to by one. Glad to know it will help though

be careful not to break any clips, those can get pretty expensive

haha nevermind i gotcha... Anyway I think ill just pull and hope they come off without breaking. the shop manuals are a lot of money.

I cant help you with the benz but I can help you on how to strip the dakota if you need. let me know
