alright me and my friend were hooking up his deck and all of a sudden i seen a spark and the interior lights went off forgot to unhook battery but anyways all the interior lights as in dash and dome light wont turn on unless the key is in it never used to be this way anyone know what happened know fuses popped we checked

On some cars the dome and dash lights are on the same circuit as the CD player, what kind of car do you have?

If it is a 90's honda there is a fuse under the hood....

You have a blown fuse; and if the dome lights and dash illumination work off the key switch now, then your wiring is jacked up behind the head unit as well.

yeah its the fuse. check your wiring before you go putting new fuses in, though.
