Car door shocks me...

I only have this issue when I'm getting out of the car after driving it. When I go to close the door, and my hand touches the metal frame, the door sends a small but definitely noticeable shock to my hand. Happens everytime I get out of the car. Any insight as to what might be causing it? Amp is an eD nine.2x (leave the eD bashing out of this thread please). It's the only amp in the car right now and it's running as a 2-channel, not bridged.

Happens to me every time I get out of my car.

Its dropped so low, I have to slide out of the car, and bush off the seat. When I touch the side of the car for support getting up, I get shocked.

Because I slide across the seat, building a little charge.

well i can easily shut my door just by pushing on it via the window....and i wont get shocked that way. but what im trying to figure out is if theres something wrong with my wiring thats causing it to shock me?

i got the same problem. geting worse too! haha my lady hates it =p anyway to fix it?

its possible, if you have some sort of wiring issues under the hood

lol i had this problem with my old car... it would shock me so bad that i would like put my hand in my sleeve then shut it... took me months to figure out to just push the door shut by the window/glass =)

mine does this also. i think it's a static thing, nothing to do with the equipment you have. you have cloth seats?

its winter and they air is dry. you're getting shocked because of static, dumbass.
