car door resonance

I am getting really muddy and unclear sound, I feel like it's around 100hz 200hz, Do you guys think this kind of door could cause bad resonance, should I SD the front of that plastic? I SD what I could behind the speaker, but it really was not that much I could put on.

I don't mind going through all the work, money is kinda a issue. I'm just unsure on how much this will help me. I'm kinda new to all this, I have never heard a good SQ car and I have nothing to compare my car to.

my methods aren't expensive. weatherstripping foam for seals is $3 a bag. a fiberglass ceiling tile (enough to do both doors) is $6 and the 1 mil PVC drop cloth for waterproofing them is $3. the MLV I use is sold at Home Depot for $30 but even vinyl flooring would work and you could get sections needed for free (thicker is better). deadener costs money, but you could stiffen with ribs of treated wood and mostly negate the need for deadener. that's about $20 to treat both doors so they sound incredible - as good as the speakers can perform. my methods require about 10-15 hours per door. do one door then listen to the difference. that's all the proof you need. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i do the same methods for $1,100 speakers as i do for $50 speakers.
