burping is when you play a fequency tone in a burst at high volume.

Peaky means that your enclosure had been tuned rather high (50 hz or more) in the low pass fequency range. Peaky enclosures sound great on some notes and sound terrible on lower notes.

what is burping?and what does a "peaky" enclosure mean?
Burping is a single short blast of a certain tone to a driver in an SPL competition.

A peaky enclosure is one that has a very large spike in the frequency response at a small frequency range. Great for output, bad for music.
