Car audio only has buzzing noise

I got a 2008 Nissan Quest van. The audio is recently having problem. Sometime, when the audio is on (usually in radio), it gives a "bang" sound then there is only buzzing noise from speakers. If I change channel or switch to CD, still only buzzing noise. If I shut down engine and start it again, usually the audio comes back to normal.

It started to happen a year ago but it happens more and more often. What would be the reason and how to fix it? Thanks

what do you have installed? just an aftermarket deck? deck + amp? whatcha got goin on over there. we need some info on what you have to troubleshoot

Hi Youdoofus, thank you for the reply. I didn’t install anything extra. It is the original audio system on the van.

I would take it in for an inspection. If it's an electrical issue; it may lead to fried coil packs and even the ECU.
