car audio noob needs help!

Hey guys, so I just put in a 4 channel amp and subwoofer. The part of the amp that is hooked up to the sub is currently set to LPF. I had it professionally installed and tuned. My only curiosity is that my HU also have a built in LPF, which the installer might not have realized. If I simply reach down and switch off the LPF on the amp, would I have to re-set the gains or should they stay the same?

I would leave it how it is if somebody professionally did it and you're new to the hobby. Just my 2 cents though.

agreed, I was just under the assumption that you shouldn't use 2 crossovers

turn off the one in the HU not the one in the amp.

If it sounds good then leave it as is.

could move the RCA's over to the rear out insted of the sub out.
