Car Audio Insurance?

With State Farm if you have comprehensive coverage, your audio equipment is covered. They require you to come into the office and get pictures of your stuff taken, and they take an inventory...then if anything gets stolen you get the cash for it assuming you have receipts.

When i had my ford explorer with my Rockford Fosgate HE2's , and was younger and dumber (see this is when i thought it was super cool to put vinyl all over my truck stating what audio equipment i had) , a group of people, actually brought a tow truck and tried to steal my whole truck out of my garage, well my parents garage, my dad ended up shooting one of them in the leg, but the son of B!tch got away, ever since then ive been paranoid about getting broken into.

I have Farmers Insurance, and they actually have "stereo equipment" coverage. It covers your stereo equip, and cd's, tapes, etc. You pick the amount of coverage that you want(I have $1000 coverage) and it costs based on how much you want, for instance mine is $50 every 6mo. They will pay to replace everything at retail value.
