Car Audio Hypes

Might not hurt to sign a contract stating that if something minor is broken you're not liable.
I maybe 18 but most of these kids are not even 17 so legally I would have to get their parents to sign it and some parents.might not even know their kids are getting a system. It would be good for people 18 and older though .

I did systems for the locals at high school in the early 80's. Mtx Thunder on Orion amps was the shyte back then lol. Jvc and Pioneer hu's. Never did like the Kenwood gear back then.

Please post up when you're done. I'd love to know what $1050 of high school labor gets me.
Dude, it will look like ****. Horrible badly done work. I don't solder and heat shrink my 1/0 lugs, I just put electrical tape around them. I usually just run the wire under the carpet, and not rubber grommet and run the wire through the frame of the car, I love that classic bulged out carpet look where the trim doesn't even go back right.. Oh yeah when I make my boxes I usually just put like a screw every 5 inches, I don't counter sink and screw every 1 1/2 and use Liquid Nail and Silicone, I find all of that a waste of time. I usually don't grind down to bare metal on all of my grounds because I think it is pointless I mean painted metal is metal right? Who cares about buying proper battery terminals? I just throw that 1/0 straight on that 8 gauge factory distribution block.

Just because I am in college, and haven't been doing this for 20 years, doesn't mean I can't do just as good of a job as someone who has if not better.

I don't know if you were being serious or an *******, but some people can do **** good work in high school/college. Sure I may not have been able to fiberglass, but I'd put my woodworking skills up against most people on this forum (Carpentry and building inspecting are plentiful in my family).

Way back in the day my buddy used to create works of art with systems. He did a 1990 supra where the door and dash buildouts looked like something toyota would have done. Amps and equipment as well as the single 10" sub was built into a false floor. It was built for a competition with so the customer paid big. Focus was sq and stealthy install. He was in second year college so older but young people can do a great job if effort is put in.

Ps at least if it wont look good, make sure wiring is done safe and everything is routed right and fused propery....
