Car Audio Fallacies

Definition of "break in" is different here. You are talking about the suspension becoming "weaker" and thus giving a different sound and allowing for further travel.
We are not talking about that. We are talking about the idea that if you do not it will damage a speaker and void the warranty and such. That is simply a lie and in no way true what so ever.
Oh gotcha, yeah i was meaning the suspension loosens up and the fs drops

my favorite was the time this guy was telling me he ran 5000w rms in an escort hatchback all off cheap 4g, well we went into conversation and it turns out he had done ZERO wiring upgrades and was still running a single wet cell battery! He would not listen to me when I said there was noway to make 5000w without a proper electrical and he most likely was lucky to be seeing 1000 clean watts, boy that pissed him off!

Went into a local car audio shop just to see what was in there and ended up talking to the owner for quite a bit...he kept bragging about how he was hitting 153-154's a couple years ago with a single stroker 15. Turns out it wasn't a TL and he was actually just doing low 140's lol...

My favorite is when people say 18's sound sloppy or that you need smaller subs like 10's and 12's to get that "clean and punchy" sound.

Lol why does everyone always habe a cousin or someone they knew with some kickers or jl that was just as loud as you.

Don't forget that the more subs you can fit in the trunk the better. "man you couldve fit 8 15s in that trunk"
