What's the best way to fight the car audio demons that make a person want to change their system for something better while yielding little to no improvements? It's always the pursue of something better whether it's bass, mids and highs, amplifiers, etc. It seems to be an addiction or either an expensive hobby.

It's been nearly 2 months since I purchased anything related to car audio and I am almost over the withdrawal symptoms. If I can make it until the end of the year, I'll be doing good.

Of course, I still wonder why I change out amplifiers when I know good and well that the individual speakers will have a greater impact on the overall sound than the amplifiers will? I do need to address a 90 to 125 Hz drop in my 97 Civic, but I don't feel like playing musical door speakers right now.

A good place to start is to never begin.

Once you start you get consumed by it, and visiting this site makes it worse.

It's a blast if you actually have time and money to put into it though.

Meh, it's not as bad as it's portrayed to be.

I have $800 in parts for my amps, and will probably have $300 in my preamp when it's all said and done...people here spend that much easily on just SAZ-3500Ds, so it's where the priorities are I guess //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
