Car Audio Crossover Questions

Hi I have a pair of Boston Acoustic 5.25 components in my front door speakers. There mid range is less then accurate and detailed. Looking at the crossover capacitors in the crossover they are JUNK to say the least. Would updating the caps to much better caps aid them. I know that in home audio a cap upgrade can do a world of improvements. Any thoughts on this.

Well its done I recapped with MUCH better caps and the difference is night and day. I used some rather pricey auricaps that I had laying around. The high bass is tighter the mids are 100% better and highs are more detailed and accurate as opposed to bright. If those of you are listening to speakers that just don't appeal alot and don't want to buy another set of speakers consider recapping the crossover. It might just be what your ears are wanting.
