Car Audio & Electronics Magazine

I buy it at the grocery store whenever I see it, but I really miss the way it used to be back in the early to late 90's with how to articles that had photos you could actually see without a magnifying glass and also included detailed instructions written as a feature article instead of captions on those tiny photos.

Also miss the old head to head group tests they used to run several times a year.

It's an ok magazine, I personally think that the reviews should have a better system reviewing them example: using different amps testing subs, using the same vehicle each test, etc.

Ever read their "review" of the SI Mag?

They didn't bother to contact Nick L. about it, just found one to test. Apparently they Googled the wrong place, because they credited it to a "Stereo Integrity" audio shop in upstate NY somewhere. They only sent the driver 400W, and complained that it didn't have great output potential.

Meanwhile, the RE MX was given glowing reviews.

Reviews in mags like this come down to whoever pays the most, and gets the nice full-page glossy advertising.
