Okay guys....Every year local around me I gather up my friends and some internet buddys and each week host a NFL Pickem group(Pool) Whatever you want to call it.
Great for football fans, who would like to "gamble" 5 bucks a week so have a chance to win much more.(depending on how many participate each week)
Here is how it works:
Everyone puts in $5 bucks and they get to pick on each NFL game who is going to win.(On the spread of course). Yahoo pickem makes this very easy to set up in a group which makes it SO much easier to gather everyones money etc. Usually there are 16 games in a week and the payouts are as follows:
Every Week:
1st place- 70% of the total pool for that week
2nd place- 20% of the total pool for that week
3rd place- 10% of the total pool for that week
First off I would like to let you guys know that you dont have to participate in every week if you dont want too. You get to choose which weeks you want to play and which ones you dont want to play. Please do not join if you dont want to participate.
