As I said, my issue is with the fact that he can not follow through. We all have lives that take up our time. When someone says from day one, through to when it issue happend origionally that you are not to worry as he would be there and take care of it, then when the take care of it comes and he can only find $12 to deal with at $250 problem, I have an issue with that.
When I sell stuff, even if it used, if I say it works and for some reason there is an issue, I make it right! I don't give a crap if it cost me more than the item itself is worth. It is a little thing called integrity! If you say you will do something then do it, don't do it half way or 99% then say thats good enough.
I sold a Critical Mass UL12 that worked perfectly for me, then when the buyer got it there was a mech noise, it still worked, and there was nothing he could do as it was sold as a used sub, and with my rep who would have argued with me when I say it was 100% when I sold it, he could have damaged it for all I know. Well I made it right with the buyer and sent him a replacement UL12 at my expense, as it was the "right" thing to do.
So please spare me the gooshy stuff, as he accepted payment as a professional to do a job, and was not able to complete the project. End of story.
He is not a bad guy, but is not at the level of a "real" professional either.
