Take it off first then discharge it...

ya just a take a screw driver or wire or something conductive and touch the 2 terminals together, it'll spark once if there power in there, after that itll be discharged...... make sure you're not touching the metal as it discharges the cap.....these guys just hate caps so much they wanna see you fry //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif butt holes....

take a test light, hold one side to the + and one side to the -, when the light goes out, the cap is discharged.

thats how you do it.
