Capacitor Help!! Noob Question

i have a DIGI CAP by Rockford Fosgate a BD1000.1 AMP RUNNIN MY 15" JLW3 and everything is hooked up.. i was just wondering how come my cap doesnt turn on.. i check if theirs current going through and it is..i charged the cap for about 5-10 minutes. and still doesnt light up.. Do i have to bump it hard to make it work how do i know if it works.. please let me know:verymad:

Your cap should display as you turn your car on. Try taking a 5 min trip and see if it comes on then, if I doesn't then it's blown....

is it suppose to be constantly on when driving and bumping?? their any way to check to see if its blown? thanks for the quik response

how do you have it connected? it should be in parallel with the battery

how is everything wired? amp and cap.

4 gauge wires from Battery to +cap, -cap grounded, +CAP to amp..

as in "+" wire from the battery to a distro block. one wire from distro block to Cap "+" and one wire from distro block to amp "+"

ground cap and amp to chassis.

edit: looks like you got hooked up right

looks like everything is hooked up fine, i dont see why you would have a problem. did you charge it before you hooked it up.
