Capacitor Help!! Noob Question

on my friends cap it has two inputs and two outputs...

1. one from + of battery to + of cap

2. one from you chassis ground to - on cap

3. one from positive on cap to + on amp

4. one from - on cap to ground on amp

dont get my wrong but is the cap grounded twice

can you distinguish the difference between the postivie and negative, maybe you have it hooked up backwards

trash the capacitor...**** it dude you dont need one anyways for only like 1500 watts

i think your cap is junk. if your amp turns on and our cap doesnt and thats how its wired, it should be working, try and run your amps ground through your caps negaive terminal and see what happens.
